Hi Hivers!
I am someone who always feels close to silence, finding tranquility in the shadows of sadness. For me, being melancholic is not a problem; instead, it is a companion that provides me with a lot of inspiration. Many of my artworks are born from thoughts and the melancholic atmosphere. Like this one.
Every morning begins with silence as I savor a cup of coffee, a habit I've developed recently. Despite always being in a melancholic mood, lately it feels different, hard for me to explain. It's as if I'm drawn to something that lifts me to the clouds, seeing the world from above, feeling the strong gusts of wind, and sensing my smallness there. However, simultaneously, I am forced back to reality. Seeing that it's all in my head makes me overthink and feel fearful. Deep inside, it feels sadder and scarier.

To ease these feelings, I usually listen to songs and can even play them from morning until I go back to sleep. One song I've been playing repeatedly lately, Black Friday by Tom Odell seems to have become my top pick on Spotify's shuffle.

Design Process
Today, I made some adjustments to fit the theme of my work. I chose the combination of yellow and lilac colors to create a reflective and calming atmosphere.
The object cutting process was done using the pen tool, followed by placement and coloring of the statue object in the middle. I then selected the object and added color using the Paint Bucket. Not forgetting, I applied a blur effect to create a glowing touch.
Next, I added a transparent background to focus on my main object. Using the rectangle tool, I created a frame and applied the Gaussian blur effect to give it a glowing effect.
I also created a floating light effect with a lilac color using the brush tool. I often apply this effect in my works, used this effect to give a dreamy impression. To make it more obvious, I added a layer and changed it to lighten with an opacity of 50%. If you look closely, the image appears somewhat blurry and not very clear.
In melancholy, I find infinite inspiration. Looking around with feeling, I catch the beauty that is often missed by hurried eyes.
