In the corner of a room full of dust
I'm waiting for the sun to shine through the darkness
Hope the light can give warmth
When darkness only gives its cold embrace

From a corner full of emptiness
I look up at the blue sky that stretches
With white clouds that change all the time
When the winds compete with each other to blow the lumps

I once dreamed of flying away
Like a butterfly flapping its wings
Among the bushes full of sharp thorns
Looking for flowers that bloom when spring comes

Dreaming of being able to live among dozens of others
Grow and develop, giving color to the beauty
Enjoy the morning dew drops before the sun starts to meet
Washing every dirty leaf when it rains

I hope on the earth to plant my roots
Hoping in the sun to give warmth to each of my leaves
Hoping in the wind and the bees to carry my pollen
Hoping in the rain to give life to this dead soul

There's only me in the corner of this room
With the dust that is getting thicker
Standing in the silence that passes
Hear them talk in the dark

Even though it's sunny outside
I messed up all my days
Even if only for one day
Flower petals will fall

Like all my hopes
That disappeared in the dust
