Sorry to hear about the company loss. Despite what many say some people just can not be replaced. Sounds like he will be one of those difficult to replace people for the company.
Growth of culture and personal growth are things that need to occur. Without growth of culture, culture dies or becomes stagnant, along with people's ideas of progress. When cultures and people fail to keep up with the times not much happens. Many cultures ignore the growth of other cultures throughout the world, and their culture and people suffer from a lack of change.
In countries of internal war, like many African countries, middle eastern countries, and south American countries, people are trying to move away from that culture of fear, even those that fight their way to the top leadership are seemingly trying to change to a more growth through life changes than growth through fear. I know a few countries have slid backward, but I always hope those few are not going to be long lasting.
