December 16th, 2020
The first three months I did weekly reports primarily so I could track my power down from Steem and develop a weekly base line of activity.
I have enjoyed making these progress reports and I don't anticipate to much change in 2021 for the monthly reports. I still continue to feel my reports serve a couple of purposes:
The first one, and primary reason for doing them, is that it allows me to see where I have been, where I am going, and where I am falling short in my personal goals.
The second purpose they serve is to let people, new accounts and old, see an honest representation of an account built from scratch and not really knowing anything at all about cryptocurrency.
As far as engagement on my part for the beginning of December I fell a little bit short, (I was almost completely inactive on some days). So on with the charts and progress.
Despite a slow comment engagement couple of weeks, I still feel as if I made pretty good progress. I had two pretty nice payouts so that has helped the mid month report numbers, It may be a nice end of month report, if I can manage a few more pieces of content.
Remeber HBD-C is HBD converted to Hive at todays rate so I can have an apples and apples comparison. One day I hope to see the curation return to close to a 30% mark, but I do feel having it close to around 20% is a good point for me right now.
I think hitting that 8,000 mark is very possible for me by years end. July was when all the steem conversions were pretty much done, so all in all most of all earnings and growth since then has been on Hive activity only.
A clsoer view of comment activity:
Not a very good start to the month, I do read a lot of the post I vote on, probably about 80% of them, I used to be pretty good at leaving a comment on at least 50% of the post I read, so I need to start letting people know again that I do enjoy their post even if it is just short notes, although I prefer to make thorough comments.
And the year end goal:
271 days since March 20th and launch of Hive, just shy of 9 months. Winter Solstice will be on the 21st for those of us in Alaska. Perhaps the stars will align and allow our new born to begin growing with the season as the days no longer grow dark but the sun begins it slow and steady rise to the peak of the summer zenith in 2021.
I hope everyone has a joyous holiday season and a merry Christmas to those that celebrate it.
