This is only my second weekly report, I have decided to try and do a few of these especially early in the chains history. I will eventually find a table format that I like and is usable so the look of the weekly table will go through some changes, as I learn and acquaint myself more with the spreadsheet program. So here are the Numbers for Week Four:
The Current HP/REP/and Liquid HP is that which I have on the books at the beginning of making my post. All the other numbers are from the end of yesterday.
I had a pretty nice increase in Current HP, the largest single week increase, not likely to happen again unless I let some HIVE sit Idle. I could have increased that number by not keeping any liquid HP on hand, but you never know when a little bit might come in handy.
We, (I am referring to Hive users in general), are still getting our feet wet, and learning the ropes around Hive. It looks like we are really only a small community for right now, based on dApp usage of Hive.Blog, PeakD and the other front ends.
A quick look at https://hivedapps.com/, and some quick finger adding, looks to be about 3,000 of us active on the Hive.
A couple of place I have found for keeping up with changes are , the home account, and
, (Take Note - Short Newsworthy Updates from the Hive Community. (Apps, Requests, Announcements, Developments.).
It was through them that I learned someone had ported over a version of steemchillers steemworld. The tool is called Beeme - https://beeme.icu/?account=bashadow you simpley replace my name with yours and you are there. I am not sure who is behind the account nor who is the one that ported over the steemworld tool. It is not listed on the https://hive.io/eco system page, but it is a nice tool to see account activity and as long as you are careful with your passwords as you always should be there should be no problems with it.
The image server upgrade, and the wallet fixes caught a lot of people flat footed. These were somewhat planned and expected as was mentioned in the recorded DEV chat on the blog post. It iw well worth following that account, they may not make a daily update post but they do put out update post and are trying to keep people informed of happenings. So those two accounts, (
and
), are good accounts to follow.
I do not like discord very much at all, but when it comes to needing a little bit of help I will turn to it. So far when I have had a problem the folks in either the Hive Discord or the PeakD discord have been very helpful.
HF24 is coming soon, I hope to hear mention of it in the next recorded DEV chat and that should be on or around the 20th of this month, (that was the day mentioned in the last chat), so change is coming, the final breaking away from Steem is well on its way.
Picture resize was something I learned this week thanks to the friendly people at PeakD Discord. Link to my Home blog below.
Thrive on the Hiveways, and have a fun week 5.
