HELLO!
I want to introduce myself to HIVE! And for your convenience, I will write my story in separate chapters.
My name is Olga.
And unlike the majority of HIVE members here,I am an old man by age.
I soon (in July of this year) will be 56 years old.
But I don’t feel like an old man at all!
Although in the country where I live - in Russia - a new definition has recently been introduced for people my age.
Now we who were born from 1965 and up to the 70s are «forebears»(before retirement).
But in my heart I am young - and I love many amusements that attract young people.
In particular, blogging)))
I mentioned earlier that I live in a wonderful country - Russia!
Russia is a huge country - we have forests, we have taiga, we have tundra.
And even we have arid deserts.
But I live in the edge of the mountains!
In the North Caucasus!
The North Caucasus itself is also a large province.
There is a wonderful resort region - the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
People from all over Russia, as well as the world, come to us to heal and improve their health.
And look at the pictures - what a beauty we have in the Caucasus!
By education I am a lawyer.
I also studied at the university in specialty «meteorology».
After graduating from high school in 1983, she immediately entered Tomsk State University.
Department of Geology, Department of Meteorology.
Because I love Nature and everything about it.
Studying meteorology was great! A very interesting profession.
In higher education, we were taught to take data for weather forecasting - to determine rainfall, soil temperature, air humidity, atmospheric pressure.
We looked into the blue sky and determined which clouds on it)))
Yeah, they’re not just white fluffy clouds, they’re different.
I still remember beautiful names - Altocumulus, Cirrus, Stratocumulus.
I liked to draw hand-drawn maps with approaching cyclones-anticyclones.
And what student practices were! Real adventures!
When else would I have had the opportunity to visit Sakhalin and Altai?!
But, unfortunately, for family reasons, I didn’t finish my geological-geographical faculty.
I had to return from Tomsk to the Caucasus.
Here I graduated from the Law Faculty at the Moscow Open Social University, specializing in law.
She worked in the legal field for a long time.
Most of the time, I enjoyed going to court and taking part in the trials of my company.
It’s a lively job - communicating with a lot of people, and you have to move your brain to make a proper statement of claim, or you have to confront your opponents in court.
At the moment I don’t work because I take care of an elderly mother.
And I take care of the household, work and at home is enough!
I love traveling around the world!
But unfortunately, there is currently no way to travel around the world.
And most of the beautiful places in Russia, too, cannot go now...
But you can travel through your native North Caucasus!
In this picture, I’m overcoming obstacles with a homemade trekking stick to Girl’s Hair Falls.
I also like cooking.
Now I have a lot of free time, and I’m happy to spend it in the kitchen. I make delicious dishes for the family.
My favorite thing to do is to read a good book before going to bed. Or watch a movie.
In both cases, I choose the genres of fiction, adventure, historical narrative, fantasy.
I’ve been a bit of a home gardener lately.
I don’t have my own land.
So I began to learn to grow vegetables (mainly tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers) in boxes and pots on the windowsill.
Look at the cucumber I managed to grow this spring in my window!
I first learned about HIVE on... Steemit!
It’s funny, isn’t it?
Let me tell you a little bit about my blogging on Steemit, if I may...
On Steemit, I registered in mid-May 2021. On May 20, I posted a post-acquaintance.
I really enjoyed blogging on Steemit - I wrote mainly a diary describing my thoughts, interesting events from my life.
I participated in several competitions at Steemit.
I wrote my posts most often in two Russian-speaking communities.
So one day I decorated my publication with a GIF picture:
At that time I did not know that this icon is a symbol of HIVE.
I just liked - the GIF-picture pleasantly flashed with different colors and decorated the text.
In response to the Steemit users, I began to receive outrages and comments.
"Why do you advertise our competitor - HIVE Social Network?".
Then I was told a little bit about how Steemit split and the HIVE network split off.
I myself found out about this on the Internet, about the reasons for the separation of Steemit and HIVE, about the differences between them.
I continued to publish my blog in the RU Steem community. But recently I became curious. I wanted to know - what is HIVE like?
I looked at HIVE. And I liked this blog site! More than Steemit!
I saw that people I’m interested in are blogging!
Users from the Southern Hemisphere, Latin America, Australia and other mysterious countries 😍
The atmosphere on HIVE is very friendly!
Newcomers are received here very warmly, helping with advice and supervision.
On Steemit very often no one notices the newcomers...
They are lost in the general «crowd» of users.
Here, on HIVE, I met a wonderful community for myself!
This community of «Silver Bloggers» @silverbloggers!
It will be pleasant and more comfortable for me to communicate with my retired peers. And to write for them their posts.
Steemit didn’t have that kind of community.
And, to be honest, it’s a little interesting to read the messages of young people aged 14-18...
Besides, I saw that on HIVE also soon will be created community for Russian-speaking users - Russian Hive @hive-111711!
I look forward to the appearance of our Russian Hive to write my blog in my native language!
I hope that our national community will receive many users! Not only from Russia, but also from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova and other republics that respect Russian!
Having come to HIVE, I will seek out communities and friends for my own interests.
I mean, I want to read this platform about the simple business of life.
About cooking, travel and attractions of different corners of the world and brotherly Slavic countries.
Nature - animals, flowers, forests and lakes.
I will gladly read the advice of other HIVE users and find many new and interesting things for myself.
I want to write HIVE on the same topic.
In the community of Silver bloggers it will be interesting to discuss our «retired» problems.
To offer advice on how to live in difficult material conditions.
My peers are there with a great sense of humor, and you can have great fun! 😀
Also I will be interested in writing posts in different HIVE communities dedicated to the beauty of nature, animals, cooking, travel.
I would love to participate in my community competitions.
When creating my publications, I will try to comply with all the general rules of HIVE and the private rules of the communities.
Never use plagiarism or insults in your posts.
