Annapurna Sanctuary, in front of Annapurna base camp, is a special place for mountain lovers.
Around it, Annapurna main summit, Annapurna south, sacred mountain Machapuchare and many other high altitude summits!
This place is magic. There are many rocks placed to keep memory of mountain climbers dead here, trying to climb one of the most difficult mountain in the world, and one of the 14th eight-thousands meters high mountain.
(in this image Machapuchare on background)
I stayed here four days, watching fog going up in the morning, and going down at evening, leaving a clear sky to watch wonderful sunset! Fog and clouds were like the breathe of the mountain, something live.
I have understood that life is change, it is a continuous movement, while our root remains always the same.
I feel a part of the universe, nothing more. A 'small' human being, with the root deeply inside sky.
