I always think that anything can be photographed in a beautiful and unique way. With this in mind I go out to take photos and always come back with extraordinary photos of ordinary things. This only reveals that how one sees things is what matters and what gives them meaning. A new world appears if we change our vision.
In our garden we have several lemon trees but there is one in particular that this year has given us so many lemons. It's so nice to harvest your own food because seeing the plants grow, seeing the fruits ripen makes eating them special.
Each thing, each place, each being has its own energy and as an artist/photographer the mission is to discover it and take samples of it to turn them into a work and share it with others.
In this case I used a homemade filter to capture what I felt and saw at that precise moment and that involved the lemons, the room where they were, the season of the year, the time, my own energy and vision and my sensitivity to capture it using a camera.
