As everyone knows, snowflakes are tiny; even on days where it is humid, as snowflakes get fluffier, each individual flake is quite small. It's a fun challenge to try and capture them with a macro lens, and finding some that are on their own is the best way to zero in and hopefully capture the structure of it. So in this case early spring, when some green had started to show up it really helped that nature was there to prop up each flake and let me get a shot at capturing the details.
