Hi again people of the community, after my sudden disappearances, I am happy to be here again after a long time, today I come to share some of my art and some works, here I share this cartoonish and funny illustration of a strong shark with sunglasses while he is doing weights, I made it with the already mentioned software Illustrator 2019 and for editing Photoshop CS6, thanks for seeing my post and I hope you enjoy it.
Sketch
The client commented that he needed an illustration of a cartoon shark with the characteristics already mentioned above, a muscular body and sunglasses, so I started to make the sketch, I drew the big and prominent muscles, using thick lines to emphasize more his musculature in the design, I also placed a big smile with sharp teeth exposed and I wanted to add a cool scar in his eye, to my liking the sketch was liked, and once the sketch was sent and approved the next thing would be the color.
Process
In the "lines" option, you can see that the design is composed of 256 elements.
Vectorization Completed
Once the vectorization of the shark's body is complete, use a palette of blues, placing to the chest part, another color that would be white to create a contrast with the rest of the shark's body, and for the lines the color black, for the dumbbells use 3 different shades of gray, and for the gums and the scar 2 different shades of red.
