Hello hello ^^ how is everyone? August has been hectic fo me and just like that I spent most of the month on the road or in meeting rooms, there was no in between for me really so I find it impressive that I actually managed to finish this one.

I normally don't take this long to finish something but I just really could not find the time. I think the only times I could focus on this is in between travels, flights and boats or bus rides and such, but t actually sit and focus on it like my previous pieces, that was impossible for me this time. I do like how my leafy jungle dragon came out though, I think it captured that jungle essence but I probably would have played with soft light had that thought crossed my mind sooner. But for now, I'm satisfied and I don't mind that it looks a little lacking to me
So for my progression, I dd a lot of oil paint brush layers just to build it up and worked in some blurring along the way
I'm definitely a background first instead of a object first kinda girl but this is mostly because I have scaling problems so I need to se what I'm working with and in before I put a subject in. To each their own process ^^
This is just me building up my layers so classic me has this habit of doing a base color,doing the shading then doing the highlights before doing the .inor details only i will probably notice 馃ぃ馃ぃ but i do what i do out of self satisfaction
And this is the result of my broken 6 hours squeezing in a sketch or two while travelling or while my current partner napped and i was too caffeinated to follow suit. I think it really would have been wonderful with soft light buttt i am too tired to experiment on it. so maybe I'll try that after some long deserved sleep ns I'll post it as a wave update tomorrow ^^

I did day 3 and i think i may need to skip the 4th prompt because it looks kinda hard. i have no idea how to draw a paper dragon 馃槄馃槄
But I am cozy in bed now with my cat so we will have to say good night now ^^
