Hellooooo, my lovely dreamers! How are you guys doing? I hope some of you are enjoying the blessing of the rain and are doing well. I am back with another post; my fifty-seventh illustration video, the "City Night View" illustration.
It is interesting how life makes us go back and forth in a way we are unable to comprehend. Today, I would like to share an interesting fact: I actually drew this picture back in 2024, and here I am in 2026, sitting next to my window, scrolling through my YouTube channel, and exasperatedly trying to figure out where my collections are! It is ironic how we lose time and try to get back our things, while, contrastingly, we expect that time stands still.
The girl in this painting is actually an imprint of me when I am working, but the scenario is not at all like my real workstation. That is where my imagination takes me, and like always, my cat is with me.
Behind this glowing cityscape lies the quiet struggle that most of us face as artists living in a developing country. Sometimes, working hard to build a life and staying on top of your responsibilities feels like an endless cycle, and it is so easy to lose yourself in the hustle. But in this illustration, the presence of a cat plays the most beautiful role, sitting right there amidst the chaos, acting as a gentle anchor. With just a soft purr or a quiet gaze, the cat breaks the tension of a long workday, reminding me to breathe and find a moment of peace. That's all for today.
Arigato Gozaimasu. I hope you all like it and share your comments. Have a wonderful life.
A reminder, this illustration is done in ibis paint x. This is solely from my imagination and so is most of my art. If you are up for more cat types of illustrations you can follow me on Pinterest, and YouTube. Have a great time.
