Hey hey hey~ how's everyone doing?
It's a Tuesday for me and this marks the 3rd night of being pretty sleepless.
I have no intentions of becoming the next queen of the sleepless, but sometimes it's a need. Like this week, I don't think I'll be given much of a chance to sleep because we have new puppies now!
My doggo gave birth to 3 healthy boy puppies and we couldn't be happier!
As much as I'm mad at my cousin for allowing his dog to rape my sweet baby, what can I do, we already have puppies and we need to care for them until we can find owners that could keep them and ensure as that the puppies will be cared for.
So last Sunday, February 19, 2023, my dog went into labor. Last time we were at the vet, they told us that the pups would be due around 1st week of March to last week of February and that we were expecting 3-4 pups. He wasn't entirely off on what he told us, but Visha did give birth a little earlier than we had hoped for.
At 7pm of the 19th, Yoshinori (Yoshi for short) was born and we really couldn't leave their side so we ended up eating dinner in my mom's room since that's where my dog gave birth.
That's Yoshi, a choco doggyyyyy and he's probably the loudest among the 3. Like he's the one that sounds like a squeaky toy too.
A few hours later, the 2nd pup was born. A white one and we named him Michiko cuz my mom liked that name a little too much
Then by midnight, all 3 puppies were born. Michiko (the white one) actually looked green when the amniotic sac burst. I was close to succeeding in naming him Shrek, sadly I had to fight my mom for Naming rights... And I lost that fight 😆
Then yesterday, I had all intentions of not going to work, sadly my mom used her paid time off to get Visha and the new pups to the vet for a check up. So in the end, I didn't get to go to the vet and only had to rely with the info my mom relayed to me
The vet also mentioned that Visha might not be lactating enough so we went ahead and bought puppy bottles and goat's milk as a milk substitute.
The pups seem to like it though because they can finish 4 ounces every 3 hours and that's a lot for newborns, I think.
Meanwhile, while all of this was happening, my senior dog, Sebastian, was hiding from the puppies because he fears angering Visha and also because he's just scared of puppies and I think he hates them, but yeah. He hasn't left his hiding spot and refuses to leave unless I take him up to my room.
Look at the poor old boy 😢 soon he might not want to come out of my room unless we get rid of the pups. Or as soon as he lets go of his trauma 🤣🤣🤣
