I saw a narrow strip of the opposite shore and snowmobile tracks that formed a gorgeous road through the snow and ice of the lake. The sun was going down. The frost was only 8 degrees and there was absolutely no wind. Here it is my golden hour.

Я увидел узкую полоску противоположного берега и следы снегохода, которые образовали шикарную дорогу по снегу и льду озера. Солнце клонилось к закату. Мороз был всего 8 градусов и абсолютно не было ветра. Вот он мой золотой час.

I left my native shore and stepped onto the ice chasing the setting sun. I did not expect that within half an hour the air temperature could drop by 10 degrees. This happened and fog began to form on the horizon. This is a rare occurrence for winter, my joy knew no bounds. I did not have time to process all the photos and publish only a part of them. I still have to glue a few panoramic shots.

The combination of sun and fog gave bizarre halos, vaguely reminiscent of a rainbow, but in a warm spectrum.

This is the footprint of a fox. Looks like she was checking out the fishermen's spots that might leave the small fish.

And then the sun set and the blue hour came. It was time to return to the native shore.

By the way, here near the shore I fell through the ice ... however, only knee-deep. It turns out that there was a lot of snow and little ice in the reeds.

I returned to the shore in another place, a little wet, but very pleased with my walk.
