Hello everyone! I just felt like doing a fun post explaining a little bit about where I live. We live in a rural town in Northern Germany. It has a population of just about 1000 residents, and is located on a larger river. It is so country that there is still operational dairy farms right on the Main Street. The house and barn is located on the street and behind the house is the field for the cows. In fact in summertime most of the towns traffic is tractors!
This one of the big reasons why we decided to locate our family to a new county is because of this town. The people are very friendly and we think it is the best place for our children to grow up. Plus not to mention my mother in law lives here and does so much for my family we are grateful. Living here our children get to experience farm life as well as the European culture.
Even though we live in the country we are located fairly close to major cities. Our family friends have a Bauernhof (farm) with horses and cows and the kids just love to play over there.
We are excited to be receiving guests from America tomorrow. They will only be staying for two days but nonetheless we are happy to see them. Plus I am excited to show off my German speaking skills to fellow Americans.
A little funny thing before I go. So we only moved to the new house, what two weeks ago? And people who helped us are already calling in the return a favor card, another small town perk. But anyways, check out the video below we helped him remove his front staircase on his house. I only worked for an hour and my back is still sore. I’m wearing blue shorts if you actually want to see what we are doing just slow the video down to .25 sorry my butt is in the camera so much.
Have a great week everyone! I will be posting my pushup challenge update on Wednesday. Please follow along and let me know what you think!
