Thank God it's Friday!! I can't help but scream out my lungs to the awaiting weekend. Hehe. Don't mind me.
From the moment I woke up this morning, the very first thing I did was stretch out my bones. It is a routine I follow subconsciously. Staying alone has also led me to the habit of setting alarms to remind myself of how my days are going to be.
My schedules for each day are simple, and like a robot, I work toward each of them unfailingly.
Today being a Friday is one of the days I wake up at 4:30 am as it is a working day. I habitually wake up at this time to do some mild things which start with praying after I have stretched out my body while in bed. Afterward, I get up from my bed, drink two cups of water, and clean up my apartment.
The moment the clock hit 5:00 am, another alarm sets in, reminding me of Curation on Dreemport. Well, I am a proud Dreemer who loves working online and offline. I curate 5 posts daily (Monday-Friday) and then submit my post for each day, whenever I have posts to share. Reading posts takes some time as I need to read, digest and comment on the posts presented to me for the day.
After curating on Dreemport, the next thing on agenda is my alarm set for 5:40 am to remind me I need to cook and take my bath. Mind you, whatever I plan to cook is usually deliberated on before the next day. Failure to do so would leave me with only one option... Noodles. Haha.
For today, I decided to cook rice because I prepared stew last night. All I had to do was to put the rice on fire and organize everything I would be needing to cook the rice. I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth, ease myself, and washed up afterward.
The moment I finish bathing, I wrapped myself up with a towel and went to have a look at the rice. It was perfect timing... The rice was already parboiled, so I sieved the rice, and added sliced onions, salt, and little water to have it cooked for the last time. This time around, I knew I had to lower the gas. I went on to tidy up the kitchen and take things back to their place as the rice cooked.
Walking to my room, I dried the little water left on my skin then creamed and put on my dress for work. For the record, I have this cool habit of using weekends (Saturday or Sunday) to arrange every dress I will be wearing to work the next week. I have never missed out on this schedule ever since I started working. My Friday wears is usually a gown or a jumpsuit. I set out a gown for this day and that was exactly what I wore to work.
After getting dressed up, I walked to the kitchen to put down the pot of rice and subsequently warm the pot of stew. After that, I got my lunchbox ready and dished in a nice serving. Being an ulcer patient, I always eat a little before going to work. Since rice and stew were already in my lunchbox, I decided to take Golden morn and milk (without sugar) for breakfast. After having breakfast, I made sure that the pot of rice and stew was placed in the right arena. That was the end of my kitchen work for the morning. It's time to leave for work.
The last thing I did before leaving home is to wear my shoe which is usually selected a weekend before. On getting to work, I greeted my co-workers with smiles and every nice sarcastic word I can pull out of my mouth to cause trouble... Don't stare at me like that... Hehe. I signed in, prayed, and started my work for the day. After working for long hours, I went out for a break which includes sharing my food with my colleagues and having a nice chat with them.
Work ends by 4:00 pm on Fridays, unlike other days where I have to leave work by 5:00 pm. The moment I finished working, I picked up my bags and headed out to sign out and wave goodbye to my colleagues.
Getting back home, I showered, warmed the remaining rice, and ate it with all pleasure. I think I ate a little too much this evening. Haha. I usually work on my post a few minutes after eating. The next plan for a day like this is always to welcome the angel of sleep... Yeah, it is the Weekend!!!
