It isn't just the arrangement of the bed where there was symmetry, there is also a lot of peculiarities in the symmetrical design of the whole hotel. Wandering around in the town in the midnight could only cause more problems, it's why I chose this hotel even when there was an only double room available. I knew that it will be hard to find a place in this midnight.

There was a guy that stood near the gate, he had an appearance which is totally opposite to the appearance of the hotel. From the front side, the hotel seemed like a luxury place with some kind strange appearance, it was both artistic and luxurious. But the guy who stood near the gate was a pretty common face, a pleasant face. There is no mystery and he is not wearing anything that shows he is a watchman.

He's a man who is at the beginning stage of old age, he is not that weak. But when he smiles I could see the cheek layers of oldness. There one could see the peacefulness he got eventually living this far. He led me to the one in the reception, it was another pleasant guy, a differing version of the one I've just seen near the gate.

The one I called was the owner of the hotel, he said everything to this reception guy. He treated me like someone who is a friend of the owner. I don't know why is that, maybe it's their style. He led me to the room, through stairs. The lift had some trouble, it is from those stairs I started feeling the real vibe of it. There was symmetry everywhere. There is painting on the wall, it also creates some strange image. It isn't portraits, it's paintings of nature, but from a different perspective.

Finally, we stopped at the corridor of the fifth floor, then it's as like the Stanley Kubrick film. The shots I saw on The Shining, everything converged and created a feel of mystery. The only thing that kept me positive was the appearance of the guy who walked in front of me. There is no chance he could be a vampire.
