Hello everyone! Yesterday we completed another @trliste event. Our events are progressing very well. At least this is the case for me. While expressing myself, I am also improving myself. Being a Brada has contributed a lot to me. As I have mentioned many times, writing is very good for me. Besides, new people and the flow of knowledge and culture that comes with them. In my opinion, the thing that adds the most value to a person is another person. At this point, you never know who will add what to whom. Who knows what we have received from the people who have touched our lives. In this sense, I see myself as a combination of many people - including the authors and heroes of the books I have read. In the presence of everyone, I would like to thank everyone who has had a good influence on my life.
I learnt the Güllaç recipe from a post on @Hive TR page. Before I get there, I should mention that Güllaç is my favourite dessert. Because as a dessert, I love milk desserts, and among milk desserts, I love Güllaç the most. Even though I love it very much, I had not researched how to make it. I recently saw @princeofbeyhive's Güllaç recipe (https://ecency.com/hive-124065/@princeofbeyhive/guellac-recipe-en-tr-months/). Because I love it so much, I thought the recipe was difficult, but it was not. I immediately sent the recipe to my girlfriend and she said let's make it tonight and bought the ingredients that were not at home.
I made it with my girlfriend for the first time. But I can do the next one myself. 😂 I really can. In fact, the day @princeofbeyhive shared this post, so I'm thinking of making it again this evening, since the dessert I'm making now was finished two days ago. I think I'll keep making it until I get bored of Güllaç. I think I'll show off by making it for our old people during Ramadan. 😎 😂
I am moving on to the ingredients immediately;
Rose pudding phyllo (according to the size of the tray)
1 liter of milk,
1.5 cups of sugar,
5-10 walnuts, depending on the size,
1 Pomegranate.
The how-to part is my favorite part. I love learning new things and the fact that I have learned how to make my favorite dessert is effective in this. As the first process, while heating 1 liter of milk, add 1.5 cups of sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves. When the sugar melts, you can turn off the stove. I did this step.
The second process is placing the Güllaç phyllo on the tray. Here, depending on the size of your tray, it is enough to break the phyllo and get a size close to the size that will fit on the tray floor. Don't worry about it being exactly the same size, or about the small pieces of phyllo that break easily. Because you can complete the puzzle with them and sprinkle them in between. This is not a problem at all. The important thing here is to pour enough of the mixture of milk and sugar on each layer. You can tell that this is enough by the softening of the bottom phyllo, which is hard at first. At this stage, I was responsible for breaking the phyllo sheets and placing them on the tray, while my girlfriend did the adding of the milk and sugar mixture.
In the next step, you add walnuts on top of the phyllo layer that you have completed up to the center of your tray. Since we used walnuts, I don't want to suggest anything else you can substitute, like hazelnuts, because I have no idea how it would work. While I did the shelling and sorting of the walnuts and placing them on the last layer of phyllo, my girlfriend did the crumbling process by placing the cleaned walnuts in a bag and hitting the bag with a hammer on the cutting board.
After placing the walnuts on top of the walnuts, we placed the same amount of phyllo dough on top of the walnuts as it was placed on the bottom, and poured the remaining milk and sugar mixture all over it. Then, we spread half of the pomegranate, which I had picked out, to cover the whole dessert. Actually, at this stage, we placed the ready dessert in the refrigerator. After about half an hour, our dessert was ready to eat. But we didn't stop.😂 Before we cut it, we spread the remaining walnuts and the half pomegranate I extracted over the dessert.
Geçenlerde @princeofbeyhive’in Güllaç tarifi paylaşımını gördüm.
Hemen malzemelere geçiyorum;
Güllaç yufkası(Tepsinin büyüklüğüne göre göz kararı)
1 Litre Süt,
1.5 Su bardağı şeker,
Büyüklüğüne göre 5-10 arası ceviz,
1 tane nar.
Herkese mutluluklar diliyorum…
