When I look at my own life, I see that I am late for many events and "early" for others. I guess the two balance each other. Despite everything, life is beautiful and continues. Although the theatre play I am going to tell today contains the word suicide and I have just watched this dramatic play, I do not have much difficulty in catching the positive aspects of life.
"The General Rehearsal of Suicide" lives up to its name. Supposedly there is a theatre play called "Suicide". The play of the rehearsal work of the theatre actors rehearsing this play is the play "General Rehearsal of Suicide". 😂 The situation is a bit strange, so I made it even more incomprehensible. 😂 The play of the play, which I told before, Noises off as in the play "Generalna Proba Samoubstiva". The author of this play is of Serbian origin and his name in the language in which it was written is "Generalna Proba Samoubstiva".

Actually, I was going to talk about the Bornova Cultural Centre first. I couldn't understand the developments in this way and I will continue with the play. The play is in two acts. Each act is about 1 hour. There is a 15 minute interval. So it is a long play. In the play, there are a little comedy, drama, love, deception, fraud, violence. I saw this much while watching. If there are more or if there are not, I felt them. Anyway, what is important for me is what the works of art make me feel.
The first act of the play was very boring. During the first act, which lasted about an hour, I could not understand anything, even though I tried to understand what the play was about. I could only sense the emotional overloads. Other than that, I could not understand anything about the event and the flow, who was who and what was what.
The second act was much more enjoyable. After I liked the flow of events and who and what the actors were, I was able to focus on the emotions. At the end of the play, there was a completely different surprise. This is a genre I like. I also like it in music. Long, boring, stagnant music, small little rises, one forward and two backwards, and the explosion at the end.
I made a general evaluation about the play. I don't go into fine details because I don't like "spoilers". Although, "spoilers" are not very important for theatre plays. The stories of the plays are usually known before they are watched. Nevertheless, I will not give details in order to know my limits. I will talk about Bornova Culture and Art Centre where we watched the play.
Bornova Culture and Art Centre is a bit Art Centre belonging to the State Theatres. This place did not exist when I settled in Izmir (2018). During the period when it did not exist, I could not find tickets to the State Theatres. Because Izmir is a little weak in terms of State Theatre Stage. This is my opinion. Because I make my comparison with Ankara. On the other hand, there is also such a situation. In this play we went to, the theatre was not full. In fact, the stage occupancy was very low for a State Theatre play.
The theatre stage here is the Bozkurt Kuruç Stage. I don't know if there is another stage other than this one, because when I came to another play before, I watched the play on this stage again. I don't know if there are other activities such as ballet and opera other than theatre, but I guess there are. Because the building is very big, and it also has a very big and beautiful garden.
Bornova Culture and Art Centre is close to Bornova Küçükpark and is accessible by metro and bus. In this sense, it is in a good location. Besides, its garden, which is the size of a large park, with trees and grass, is also very beautiful. You can sit on the benches in the garden outside the art events. The reason why I like this place is, first of all, as I said above, since the opening of this place, you can find tickets for the State Theatre plays, and also the big building and garden. Herkese merhaba! Bugün hava gene güzel. Bunu yazarken, nazar değecek diye çekiniyorum. 😂 Ama gerçekten çok güzel. Ben de gene bir yürüyüşe çıktım. Kaçırmamak lazım. Gerçi, hayatı ıskalamamak çok zor. Kaçan fırsatların farkında bile olmadığımızı yıllar sonra fark edebiliyoruz. Belki de çoğunun farkında değiliz. Kendi hayatıma baktığımda, bir sürü olaya geç kaldığımı, bir başka olaylara ise “erken kaldığımı” görüyorum. Her ikisi birbirini dengeliyordur heralde. Her şeye rağmen hayat güzel ve devam ediyor. Her ne kadar, bugün anlatacağım, tiyatro oyunu içerisinde intihar kelimesini barındırsa ve ben bu dramatik oyunu yeni izlemiş olsam da hayatın pozitif yanlarını yakalamakta çok zorlanmıyorum.
“İntiharın Genel Provası” oyunu, adının hakkını veriyor. Güya “İntihar” diye bir tiyatro oyunu var. Bu oyunun, provasını yapan, tiyatro oyuncularının prova çalışmalarının oyunu da “İntiharın Genel Provası” oyunu. 😂 Durum biraz garip, ben de iyice anlaşılmaz bir hale soktum. 😂 Daha önce anlattığım, Oyunun oyunu isimli oyunda olduğu gibi, yani. Bu oyunun yazarı Sırp asıllı ve oyunun yazıldığı dilindeki ismi “Generalna Proba Samoubstiva”.

Aslında ilk önce, Bornova Kültür Merkezi’nden bahsedecektim. Gelişmeler bu şekilde oldu ben de anlayamadım ve oyunla devam edeceğim. Oyun, iki perde. Her bir perde yaklaşık 1 saat. 15 dk da ara var. Yani uzun bir oyun. Oyun içerisinde, birazcık komedi, dram, aşk, aldatma, dolandırıcılık, şiddet duyguları mevcut. Ben izlerken bu kadarını gördüm. Daha fazlası varsa ya da bunlar yoksa, ben onları hissettim. Zaten benim için önemli olan, sanat eserlerinin bana hissettirdikleri.
Oyunun ilk perdesi, çok sıkıcıydı. Bu, yaklaşık bir saat süren ilk perde boyunca, oyunun ne olduğunu anlamaya çalışsam da bir şey anlayamadım. Sadece, duygu yüklemelerini sezebildim. Bunun dışında, olay ve akışla ilgili, kimin kim ve ne olduğu ile ilgili bir şey anlayamadım.
İkinci perde, çok daha keyifliydi. Olay akışı ve oyuncuların kim ve ne olduklarını da sevdikten sonra, verilen duygulara odaklanabildim. Oyunun sonunda ise bambaşka bir sürpriz vardı. Bu, benim sevdiğim bir tür. Müzikte de bunu seviyorum. Uzun süren sıkıcı, durgun bir müzik, küçük küçük yükselmeler, arada bir ileri, iki geri gitmeler ve sonunda meydana gelen patlama.
Oyunla ilgili, genel bir değerlendirme yaptım. İnce detaylara girmiyorum. Çünkü “spoiler” sevmiyorum. Gerçi, tiyatro oyunları için “spoiler” çok önemli değil. Oyunların hikayeleri, izlenmeden önce biliniyor genelde. Ben gene de haddimi bilmek adına ayrıntı vermeyeceğim. Oyunu izlediğimiz, Bornova Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi’nden bahsedeceğim.
Bornova Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi, Devlet Tiyatroları’na ait bir Sanat Merkezi. Burası ben İzmir’e yerleştiğimde(2018 yılı) yoktu. Olmadığı süreçte ise ben Devlet Tiyaroları’na bilet bulamıyordum. Çünkü, İzmir, Devlet Tiyatro Sahnesi konusunda biraz zayıf. Bu benim görüşüm. Çünkü, ben kıyaslamamı Ankara ile yapıyorum. Bir yandan şöyle de bir durum var. Gittiğimiz bu oyunda, salonun tamamı dolu değildi. Hatta, Devlet Tiyatrosu oyunu için sahne doluluğu çok düşüktü.
Buradaki tiyatro sahnesi, Bozkurt Kuruç Sahnesi. Bu sahne dışında başka bir sahnesi var mı bilmiyorum. Çünkü, daha önce başka bir oyuna daha geldiğimde, oyunu gene bu sahnede izlemiştim. Tiyatro dışında, bale, opera gibi farklı aktiviteler de yapılıyor mu bilmiyorum. Fakat, yapıldığını tahmin ediyorum. Çünkü bina çok büyük, aynı şekilde, çok büyük ve güzel bir bahçesi de var.
Bornova Küçükpark’a yakın olan Bornova Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi’ne, metro ve otobüs ile ulaşım mevcut. Bu anlamda, konum olarak güzel bir yerde. Bunun yanında, sahip olduğu, büyük bir park boyutlarındaki, ağaçlar ve çimenlerin olduğu bahçesi de çok güzel. Sanat etkinlikleri dışında da bahçesindeki banklarda oturabilirsiniz. Benim burayı sevme sebebim, ilk olarak, yukarıda da dediğim gibi, burası açıldığından beri, Devlet Tiyatro oyunlarına bilet bulabiliyor olmak, bir de büyük bina ve bahçesi. İlginiz için teşekkürler.
