Imagine having to substantiate something as significant as a breakthrough by one person's word alone, in 2023, and then yet again painting the Russians as incompetent after the incompetent Russians completely stymied an offensive supposed to culminate in three days >According To Experts which allegedly broke through one defensive line two months into it and we are at one week away from October 3rd which marks the 4 month anniversary of the start of the offensive. They then claim the Russians are degraded by withdrawing from the grayzone of Avdiivka and Kleshcheevka, just south of Bakhmut, Bakhmut where for months the narrative was that the Russians are using human wave attacks and sending in Wagner armed with shovels only and that Bakhmut will be the end of the Russian army which will be so degraded by the time the much hyped Ukraninan offensive comes that the Russians who remain will just run away, and now, unironically them trading insignificant two street hamlets and converting them into meatgrinder killboxes and killzones for Ukrainian "Control" is signaling that the Russians are degraded. The Clowns will Clown.
They close with more "According To Experts" fantasy to reassure their readers that at least they killed almost two Russians to every one Ukrainian, you know because that's translated somehow from the Russians having 10 to 1 fire superioriy, air superiority, and things like thermobarics and an almost limitless ammunition supply owing to the Soviet stockpiles of over a billion shells and rockets while the Ukrainians who have mobilized over one million and couldn't stop Wagner and haven't even dented the Russian defenses despite throwing 100k men and billions in wunderwaffen. They allegedly lost 70k, have at least 20k amputee, and despite the average 25:1 KIA to amputee ratio of the past hundred years of conflicts including Iraq and Afghanistan, they're at 3.5 to 1. Yeah, very believable.
They "Encircled" Bakhmut, which they claimed was partially encircled in May and again in June and I believe even in July they claimed that:
