A big greeting to all, yesterday was celebrated the children's day, many little ones were entertained, others simply saw this day as one more. Either way my congratulations to all, a child is a beautiful being that fills this world with joy. In my community most of the children are part of a family of fishermen, many are dysfunctional, they are children who have learned from an early age what is the work of fishing, in fact the fruits of the sea are the main food in the village.
The school makes a great effort to encourage the children to study, so that the community understands the importance of this for individual development and the influence in the work activity. The community's educational institution has been in operation for many years and continues to provide education not only to the children and young people (it has a high school) of the community but also to other nearby communities.
Mis hijos obviamente forman parte de la comunidad estudiantil, no obstante la situación educativa en el país que ha conllevado a protestas y suspensión de actividades por demanda de salarios acordes a la realidad económica del país los maestros acá han tratado de reestructurar los horarios y laborar lo justo para que los estudiantes no se vean afectados lo cual agradecemos mucho como padres.
¿Estudiar o trabajar? Es la pregunta que acosa a los niños y jóvenes debido a la crisis económica imperante, hay situaciones que se escapan de las manos y aunque el deseo es ver a una comunidad prosperar a nivel educativo, la realidad social y económica se impone muchas veces. Sin embargo la lucha continua porque los maestros y me incluyo aunque ya esté jubilado nunca tiramos la toalla porque pensamos que siempre hay esperanza, siempre hay un momento para el estudio, de mi parte brindo toda la orientación que está a mi alcance, como padre, como maestro, no abandono lo que es mi misión y es educar, porque la esperanza de un país es su generación.
My children are obviously part of the student community, despite the educational situation in the country that has led to protests and suspension of activities to demand salaries in line with the economic reality of the country, the teachers here have tried to restructure the schedules and work just enough so that the students are not affected, which we are very grateful for as parents.
Study or work? This is the question that plagues children and young people due to the prevailing economic crisis, there are situations that are out of hand and although the desire is to see a community prosper at the educational level, social and economic reality is often imposed. However, the struggle continues because teachers and I include myself even though I am retired, we never throw in the towel because we think that there is always hope, there is always a time to study, for my part I provide all the guidance that is within my reach, as a parent, as a teacher, I do not abandon what is my mission and that is to educate, because the hope of a country is its generation.
Sé que los tiempos han sido dificiles pero siempre hay una luz en el camino y no pierdo la esperanza de un cambio positivo para el país. Mientrás, apoyo todas las actividades que pueda. En días pasados se realizó una actividad deportiva que gozó del apoyo de la comunidad, niños participaron en una gran carrera de bicicletas, el deporte permite que los niños se mantengan saludables y sueñen en grande.Las bicicletas se ven mucho en la comunidad como medio de transporte y recreación.
A finales de mes con mucha alegría celebraremos que una nueva generación de niños y jóvenes culminarán etapas en el preescolar, primaria y bachillerato; aquí celebramos en colectivo, hoy es el hijo de otra persona, mañana será el mío; que bonito lo hayan podido lograr, ojalá puedan continuar estudiando pero se han sentado las bases para ello, soy de la idea de que siempre habrán oportunidades para alcanzar los sueños.
I know times have been difficult but there is always a light on the path and I do not lose hope for a positive change for the country. In the meantime, I support as many activities as I can. In recent days a sporting activity was held that enjoyed the support of the community, children participated in a great bike race, sport allows children to stay healthy and dream big, bicycles are seen a lot in the community as a means of transportation and recreation.
At the end of the month we will celebrate with great joy that a new generation of children and young people will complete preschool, elementary and high school; here we celebrate collectively, today it is someone else's child, tomorrow it will be mine; how nice that they have been able to achieve it, hopefully they can continue studying but the foundations have been laid for this, I am of the idea that there will always be opportunities to achieve dreams.
