Do you ever struggle to name or interpret your own art?! Is it me? :O
The current method for painting is that I jolt down ideas around a theme into in my sketchbook and paint the ones I further like to explore. This is how I did my last painting that I'm personally very proud of. It's not an enormous painting, it has more to do with my personal goals and expectations. Here it is if you want to check it out: https://steemit.com/art/@ayushijain/bon-voyage
With this one, I don't really know what I'm trying to express. I thought about it for a while, staring at it but nothing really came out. Here are some process pictures as well.
I've used Camlin's Photocolors; four in particular - deep yellow, light yellow, dark brown and stone grey. And every other color came out of these combinations.
To illustrate, tech pens come in handy - 0.1 and 0.3 by Artline.
Watercolor sheet by Bustro, A5 300 gsm to be exact.
And for quick idea sketches, I use A4 landscape Bustro sketchbook.
See you in the next post :)
Stay creative :P
