Forgot to let you know things is that my virtual relationship didn't work out due to distance and things. So it is a return for me to be single but I am happy and confident that I can be OK with and without a relationship for right now. I also am dealing with the long after effects of now being 39 years old and by next year, turning 40. I really don't look like it though, lol.
But also the after effects of being a Abstinent life of sex for basically over 20 years but not knowing how to have the experience to whether or not to actually do so, knowing the concequences and also the benefits if anything. What has happened after 2020 (you know the thing) showed up in a lot of ways, socially and dating wise more so in my own observations in social media but also in reality too. And a lot of things that have been said in a lot of ways have been very much distorted and out of context. And really, I hope that I felt that I am wrong on my observations and also let Ai see things too, but really, I hope that I am wrong and if I am I am willing to admit it 100%. But really, a lot of things that happened from 2020 onwards has been out of control and also way, way distorted and out of context to the point of a politician destroying a friendship or even family bonds over a person or belief that may or may not be correct.
Its a lot of reasons for the mistrust in a lot of the institutions and for me as a millennial, it's long before 2016. It's Newtown for me that basically set its fate with me, that the trust is burned. From gaming to even the debates of guns and all, yeah. The corporate mainstream media, basically mailed it in that day literally and figuratively. But looking back it was a bad sign for the things to come.
In a lot of ways on Hive, we have to be our own journalists because locally we may not have our own or even trust is so frayed and down to nubs, that there is nothing left to trust. That is exactly why I love to be here on Hive because I like to talk about things that may not be talked about, like for me, discovering every connection of the Purity/Abstinence era to now with the Tate Brothers and also Femininism and dating as well along with inceldom and things too. And in my opinion, it's the core of how we got here with dating. What happened with dating, is now altered and will take years to clean up and fix if we even can.
I hope so though. I really do. Because America did great things in the best times then and now. And this may be the best to do so, and admit... Web3 or even something like Hive is the best spot to be. The return to MySpace potentially may help but also growth in Hive and other Web3 social media platforms help too.
I don't think at all, Web3 social media is going away at all. So I will treat it like it isn't. 😊
