There was a time in olden days when masquerade festivals were rampant in Nigeria. Yes, it was... But other religions are taking over. Festival period arrived, however, some students dressed up in masquerade attires. They decided to fool their teachers on April 1st. One student saw the head teacher and started pursuing him with a cane. Actually, those teachers can be a little bit wicked 😂... Probably he was trying to teach him a lesson. He pursued the helpless teacher till he fell down. He rose up again, and looking back, he saw the masquerade flogging him. He screamed for help until he was able to hide in a safe place. Some others also went to another set of teachers, bullying them. One of the teachers said, "Kunle, is that you? Why are you doing this to us?" But they shouted, "April fools!" and demanded their "April 1st money." They tortured their teachers violently. This was not a play at all. After their escape, the teachers made their research to know where the masquerades changed their attires. When they got there, unfortunately, some of these people were their students. They were disgraced on the assembly group the next day. I trust Nigerian teachers.
