Most of us knows that having a lot of fans increases the maximum potential starbits earned. But how do you pick your missions?
What's usually my daily routine and how I came up with it?
Most people agree that completing 5-minute missions yields the most Starbits, but what happens after your fans got bored? Here's my method for calculating which missions to choose after fans become bored of your illegal busking everywhere. *Note: This routine is designed for a continuous 3 to 4 hours of gameplay and assumes you possess a considerable skill amount due to ego buildup.
The first four missions contains the majority of my daily earned Starbits. They also maximize the use of time. Minimum time is 2hrs 45mins.
I start with the Radio Interview mission. I repeat it 8 times before switching missions (40 minutes) - Among the 5-minute missions in my 3 zones, Radio Interview yields the highest Starbits. The maximum reward remains consistent for the first 5 times. After fan boredom sets in, the maximum Starbits drop by 10% with each successive mission. After the 8th mission, its maximum reward becomes lower than "Illegal Busking and Band Rehearsal."
Band Rehearsal and Illegal Busking, I complete each 5 times (50 minutes) - Though Full Band Support have higher yield, this time, I focus on the other two 5-minute missions until fans becoms bored.
Full Band Support, I complete it 5 to 8 times (75 minutes) - This might seem confusing at first, given the logic that "if a 5-minute mission yields the most, a 10-minute mission should yield the second most." However, based on my calculations, this mission provides better Starbits over time. Since the 5-minute mission is the benchmark, it's used as the base time for calculating the effectiveness of starbits earned over time in a mission. What does this mean?
Full Band Support takes 15 minutes to finish. If you divide this by 5 minutes, you get 3 Radio Interview missions. From the images above, you need to earn at least 483 Starbits (161x3) for it to match my current best mission. Open mic night mission yields only 80 Starbits per 5 minutes.
4.If I still have time, I will be back to the three 5 minutes missions until it becomes half of the 10minute mission. If I am gonna be busy, I will do long missions up until my next free time.
In summary, To check which mission yields the highest Starbits in the shortest amount of time of playing you should :
Identify 5-minute missions with the highest reward, like "Radio Interview" in your available zones.
Base your strategy on mission reward and completion time. For instance, this mission yielding 821 Starbits in 1 hour computes to around 68 Starbits in 5 minutes (821 / 12)
By focusing on high-yield, short-duration tasks during your continuous playtime, you can maximize Starbits earnings while making the most of your gameplay. Do long missions on busy times. Among long missions, 1hr missions usually yields better than others. I hope this could help new players, and can also optimize play style of old players.
