Today was the day to drive back up through France from my holiday location near Albi. I woke up early so that I could pack the car and get away early. It is a good 8 hour drive to Rouen where I am staying.
The advantage of waking up early is that I could see the sunrise. It was lovely rising over the river although too windy to get a perfect reflection.
We made it to Rouen by the evening but were tired. We went out for dinner but then slept early.
