For twenty five years, I've been stranded on an island with only one goal: figuring out which local #food I like best. Right now, I'm quite sure it's grilled sambal stingray. I kid, but only about the the part on being stranded. I'm from the world's only island city-state (City-state? Nation-state? Country? Whaa-?? Yea some kind of identity crisis going on.). Any guesses??

I read about steemit from an article on my newsfeed and created an account after lurking for a bit, the push factor was also in part due to much well-meaning advice on how I should 'try to be more sociable'. So JDI, right? Taking a deep breath and a virtual step in what I hope is the right direction (:

While I can't say I fully understand what goes on behind the scenes for Steem (hoping to get there eventually!) what I've seen on steemit so far is so exciting. It's exciting to be part of a community that's growing and seeing the enthusiasm to make it THE place to hangout!

I enjoy boardgames, figuring out how things work/are made, silly puns, crafts, wandering around new places, and from time to time a good book + cuppa tea + no interruptions. Of the many things I've dabbled in over the years, photography and post-processing have been the most constant. I'll most certainly be posting more in #photography and #travel with photos and perhaps, the stories behind them. Still finding my style and enjoying the journey as I go (:

This is one of my favourite photos despite having to trudge up to Piazzale Michelangelo, hushing my increasingly rumbly tummy, and dropping my tripod off the balustrade. Cos when you get a view like that, it all becomes worth it and you feel inspired to search out moments like that again.

Here's another by the waterfront in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Chasing sunsets quickly became a thing.

Also always looking out for people in interesting situations. This was taken in Lisbon, Portugal while the walking tour group had a momentary lull.

More to come (:

P.S. I would love some advice on image resizing within the editor. The ones I posted are overwhelmingly large 0.0
