Briefly: Occasionally I recommend a youtube video. Mike Maloney at times offers decent advice (mostly precious metals) backed by facts, charts, etc. If the book is actually free and doesn't require membership or hidden fees I will probably read it.
I do recommend watching '50,000 Bitcoin?' Ugh--He mentions the 'tulip craze' and precious metals. Try to LOOK PAST these 2 things. Take home message of video: 'taking profits' ---Then....check out the replies- Lots of arguments ---GOOD REMINDER OF VARIOUS OPINIONS (scam, investment, gamble, risk, to the moon, etc).
Take profits HERE and THERE. You will sleep comfortably at night. Many of you know that I took a risk and joined Bitconnect using profits from previous trades. Yeah...it sure seems like a ponzi scheme. People are being more and more vocal about it, from both perspectives (hype versus criticism). Recently Great Britain has given Bitconnect an ultimatum to show that it is legitimate or the government will shut down it's operations in the country (google it). I'm not too sure how they will do just that, but it will eventually look bad for Bitconnect unless they can provide proof.
Thankfully I've been transferring all of my profits out--daily (see previous posts). And, thankfully I have >100% of my initial investment back. My point--- I TOOK A RISK, ....AND THEN....I 'WISED UP'....and though I would love for Bitconnect to last for years and years, I'm pretty certain it won't. The MATH doesn't make sense. So, I'm protecting myself. (I converted 1/2 of my profilt to silver bars directly; and 1/2 sent to my Bittrex account for purchasing additional BTC and alt coins).
With that said - no matter what you're invested in--Please take the time today and re-evaluate your positions, and if you haven't taken any profit lately....JUST TAKE A LITTLE BIT HERE AND THERE. A WEE BIT! Just take a look at how many coins PUMP and then DUMP. Think about it. Do you think the majority of Alt coin purchasers are 'in it'....for the long term? I surely don't.
Ask yourself: Will I know when the market has reached it's peak? Personally, I believe we've got lots of room to grow...BUT-- just in case.... work on your exit strategy.
