Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes

Nature, both plants and animals, is always a great inspiration for me. It is fractal, i.e. it follows repetitive patterns and we see it especially in plants, flowers, fruits, but in reality it is in everything, even in human beings.

I love to make mixtures between colours, fractal, flowers, human beings and also animals that allude to an awakening or to see beyond what human eyes perceive. The eyes always as a symbol of seeing, knowing how to look and the truth.

Design process

The design is made with 7 images and in layers.

I built the background with three images, two coloured images and one with a fractal. The first image was of a watercolour that I duplicated and enhanced the brightness and contrast of the same and at the same time I put the soft light fusion. Then the other image of purple colour I arranged them in two layers with fusions, focal light and darker colour, the third image of the fractal I put the fusion of underexpose colour.

Then I worked on the image of the woman in two layers with darken and lighten fusions.

I placed the owl on one side of the design in three layers with darken, highlight and lighten blends, brightening the eyes.

Then the jasmine flower images were arranged in four layers, in different parts of the design with fusions of focal light, lighter colour and strong light.

Finally I selected an eye of the woman, copied and pasted in different parts of the design with the darkening fusion.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Siempre es de gran inspiración para mí el tema de la naturaleza, tanto plantas como animales. Ella es fractal, es decir sigue patrones repetitivos y sobre todo lo vemos en las plantas, flores, frutas, pero en realidad está en todo, hasta en los seres humanos.

Me encanta hacer mezclas entre los colores, lo fractal, flores, el ser humano y también animales que aludan a un despertar o ver más allá de lo que perciben los ojos humanos. Los ojos siempre como símbolo del ver, saber mirar y la verdad.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado con 7 imágenes y en capas.

El fondo lo construí con tres imágenes, dos de colores y una con un fractal. La primera imagen fue de una acuarela que dupliqué y realcé el brillo y contraste de la misma y a su vez puse la fusión de luz suave. Luego la otra imagen de color morado las dispuse en dos capas con fusiones, luz focal y color más oscuro, la tercera imagen del fractal le puse la fusión de subexponer color.

Luego trabajé la imagen de la mujer en dos capas con fusiones oscurecer y aclarar.

Coloqué la lechuza a un lado del diseño en tres capas con fusiones oscurecer, luz focal y aclarar, dándole brillo a los ojos.

Luego las imágenes de las flores de jazmines las dispuse en cuatro capas, en distintas partes del diseño con fusiones de luz focal, color más claro y luz fuerte.

Finalmente seleccioné un ojo de la mujer, copié y pegué en distintas partes del diseño con la fusión de oscurecer.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
