They say that a drop has all the properties of the ocean, so in a single drop there is a lot of life, because it contains all the properties of water.

Nothing in the world would be here if it were not for water, for every drop, which always counts. In fact we ourselves are more than 70% water. It is thanks to water that life makes its way.

In this surrealistic design I show how valuable water is, even in just a drop. The look of nature in every single drop. The strength of the waterfalls that carry this source of life, as well as the rivers and seas.

The tonality I chose is mostly green, for life, nature, health and the hope that I believe nature can still have in us.

The roses as a detail on that drop that looks at us, absorbing the colours that surround them. I like that it takes on the colours of green mountains, bits of rock and water. That the drops can be even very small decorating finely in the form of dew those beautiful petals of life.

Design process

The design is made with six images and 21 layers in Photoshop CS6 without AI.

For the background I chose a green leaf texture image which I duplicated twice, one layer with a crazing filter and the other layer with a colour blend. Then I saw that some clarity was missing so I added another layer with a lighten filter.

On top of that I placed the leaf in two layers with focal light and darker colour fusions.

I took part of the image of the woman, the water part, selected it, copied and pasted it into the design with the darker colour blending creating an effect on the background created earlier.

With the focal light blend I placed part of the waterfall on the design and then the drop I placed it in the centre in three layers with overlay, focal light and soft light blends.

Then to make it appear only in the animation, but not in the final design I placed the rose in the middle of the drop in three layers with lighten, focal light and soft light merges.

I selected one of the woman's eyes and placed it in the centre of the droplet in three layers with merges of focal light, soft light and normal light. On top of this I placed two more waterfall layers with raster fusion to give me a lot of light on the water falling on the eye.

Finally I placed two layers with roses on both sides of the eye with the light fusion to make it take the colour of the background.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Dicen que una gota tiene todas las propiedades del océano, por lo que en una sola gota hay mucha vida, porque contiene todo lo propio del agua.

Nada de lo que existe en el mundo estaría aquí si no fuera por el agua, por cada gota, que siempre cuenta. De hecho nosotros mismos somos más de 70 % agua. Gracias a ella la vida se abre camino.

En este diseño surrealista muestro lo valioso del agua, aún en sólo una gota. La mirada de la naturaleza en cada una de ellas. La fuerza de las cascadas que llevan esa fuente de vida, así como los ríos y mares.

La tonalidad que elegí es mayormente verde, por la vida, la naturaleza, la salud y la esperanza que creo aún la naturaleza puede tener en nosotros.

Las rosas como detalle sobre esa gota que nos mira, absorbiendo los colores que las rodean. Me gusta que tome los colores de las montañas verdes, trozos de roca y el agua. Que las gotas puedan ser hasta muy pequeñas decorando finamente en forma de rocío esos hermosos pétalos de vida.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con seis imágenes y en 21 capas en Photoshop CS6 sin IA.

Para el fondo elegí una imagen de textura de hoja verde que dupliqué dos veces, a una capa le agregué un filtro de cuarteado y la otra capa con una fusión de color. Luego vi que faltaba algo de claridad y agregué otra capa más con filtro de aclarar.

Sobre lo anterior coloque la hoja en dos capas con fusiones de luz focal y color más oscuro.

Tomé parte de la imagen de la mujer, la parte de agua, la seleccioné, copié y pegué en el diseño con la fusión de color más oscuro creando así un efecto sobre el fondo creado anteriormente.

Con la fusión de luz focal coloqué parte de la cascada sobre el diseño y luego la gota la puse en el centro en tres capas con fusiones de superponer, luz focal y luz suave.

Luego para que aparezca sólo en la animación, más no en el diseño final puse la rosa en medio de la gota en tres capas con fusiones de aclarar, luz focal y luz suave.

Seleccioné uno de los ojos de la mujer y lo dispuse en el centro de la gota en tres capas con fusiones de luz focal, luz suave y normal. Sobre esto coloqué dos capas más de cascada con fusión de trama para darme mucha luz al agua que cae sobre el ojo.

Finalmente dispuse dos capas con rosas a ambos lados del ojo con la fusión de luminosidad para que tome el color del fondo.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.

Debido a la falta de funcionamiento de 3speak, subí la animación a mi canal de YouTube para poder mostrarles el trabajo completo.
