But first, measure your wingspan (A teaser for the uplifting podcasts ahead):
October, 2026 will be forever known to me as the month I painted in two’s and three’s. What a quick and efficient way to keep up with my 3 painting-a-day goal to reach 20,000 in 19½ years. Earlier in the month I wanted to get rid of a hundred sheet oil-ready pad of paper because it was a bit too small for my liking (11 x 14"). I was able to tape three on my easel. Now that they’re gone, I am tearing 50 yards of 6 foot canvas into 14 x 18" pieces. They fit two on the easel, hence the pair of toilets.
I definitely prefer paper to the loose canvas, and will keep an eye out for a strong, affordable paper that gessos without ribboning when dry.
