Numerous tourists and also residents of the city take pictures with it, especially children.

In addition to this great sculpture, the artist is holding a formidable exhibition in the Unicaja Foundation, which is located just a few steps from the cathedral of Malaga, and very close to this sculpture that I bring you today.

This great work called Heads v2, is a temporary and free exhibition.

It consists of children's heads with bright and very bright colours, their big eyes and very funny faces. It is inevitable to pass by the place and not take pictures.

Five metres high and five children's heads, each head points to an important and emblematic place in the city such as the cathedral, the castles of Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, the port or plaza marina and the Marques de Larios Street (the most important street in the whole city).

The heads are all of different sizes, scales, colours, their eyes very big and with a particular shine. The faces make very funny grimaces.

A work with a surprising creativity, no one can ignore its presence, it is impossible.

According to the artist, the different scales of the heads symbolise the fact of the reality of today's society, that we all need each other to achieve the necessary learning required for the evolution of man on earth.

It would be the counterpart of individualism and rather speaks of teamwork. This sculpture calls for reflection on unity and collaboration, and that with them we can achieve our goals. That together we are stronger.

It is called in different ways, the sculpture of the children or the sculpture of the heads, and it is an obligatory stop for hundreds of tourists as the Hotel Málaga Palacio is located on one of the corners and the cathedral of the city is only a few metres away.

In several photographs he appears in the background accompanying the work of this magnificent artist.

After many years of not exhibiting in his home city, Javier Callejas arrives in all his splendour, both with the exhibition at the Fundación Unicaja and with this gigantic work.

He will also have many exhibitions coming up in different cities around the world such as London, Miami, Hong Kong and Seoul among others.

A marvellous and amazing work of art that attracts the attention of everyone who passes by, no one can remain indifferent.
