Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes
In life there are many doors, when we open them some give us satisfaction and others teach us lessons. But in the end there are always doors, decisions, opportunities and paths.
When we see the main door, when we manage to see it, it is our decision to open it and to see, to see beyond reality. The light expands in us and there is a change in our lives to positive and nothing is the same anymore, because we were able to see.
There is a before and an after when we go through that door, as if we enter the fifth dimension and see the world with different eyes.
The design is made with 7 images and in 16 layers.
The image of the rock wall is the one I chose as the background, making four layers of it, shrinking them to a quarter of the size to arrange them in each of the corners of the design to generate smaller stones. I then combined the 4 layers of rocks.
On top of that I placed the tunnel of light in three layers with fusions of tone, focal light and soft light. On top of this I duplicated the rocks layer and added soft light blending to enhance the colour.
In the centre of the design I placed the door, previously erasing the background, in two layers with darker colour and luminosity fusions.
Then I selected an eye from the woman's image, duplicated it and flipped it horizontally, creating identical eyes, and merged those two layers. I duplicated this set again and used merges of normal and darker colour. I duplicated these two layers again and scaled them down and placed them higher.
I selected the butterfly, copied it, pasted it into the design in three layers with darker, lighten and soft light blends.
Finally the ivy, having previously erased the background, I placed it on the design with strong light blending.
The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

En la vida existen muchas puertas, cuando las abrimos algunas nos dan satisfacción y otras nos dan enseñanzas. Pero en definitiva siempre hay puertas, decisiones, oportunidades, caminos.
Cuando vemos la puerta principal, cuando logramos verla es nuestra dedición abrirla y ver, ver más allá de la realidad. La luz se expande en nosotros y se produce un cambio en nuestras vidas a positivo y ya nada es igual, porque pudimos ver.
Hay un antes y un después cuando atravesamos esa puerta, como si entráramos en la quinta dimensión y viéramos el mundo con otros ojos.
El diseño está realizado con 7 imágenes y en 16 capas.
La imagen del muro de roca es la que elegí como fondo, haciendo cuatro capas de ella, achicándolas a un cuarto del tamaño para disponerlas en cada uno de los ángulos del diseño y así generar piedras más pequeñas. Luego combiné las 4 capas de rocas.
Sobre lo anterior coloqué el túnel de luz en tres capas con fusiones de tono, luz focal y luz suave. Y sobre esto dupliqué la capa de las rocas y le puse fusión de luz suave para realzar el color.
En el centro del diseño puse la puerta, borrando previamente el fondo, en dos capas con fusiones de color más oscuro y luminosidad.
Luego seleccioné un ojo de la imagen de la mujer, lo dupliqué y volteé horizontalmente, creando ojos idénticos, uní esas dos capas. Volví a duplicar este conjunto y usé fusiones de normal y color más oscuro. Estas dos capas las volví a duplicar y reduje la escala colocándolas más arriba.
Seleccioné la mariposa, la copié, pegué en el diseño en tres capas con fusiones color más oscuro, aclarar y luz suave.
Finalmente, la hiedra, borrando previamente el fondo, la puse sobre el diseño con fusión de luz fuerte.
La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
