Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes

Night and day,
mystery and clarity,
the occult and the birth,
black and white.
Equine spirit.

For horse lovers, myself included, I made this design. Some people feel that their spirit has the characteristics of the horse.

Noble and very wise animal depending if it is black or white horse, they symbolize the night, the mystery and the nexus with the other plane or the light, the day and the birth.

All the writings are of my authorship inspired by the design.

Design process

The design is made with 3 images and 23 layers.

For the background I chose two images, one of a night with a full moon and the other of a field in the sunlight.

I made many layers of these two images, some of them I intercalated and merged and others I grouped them in duos, one of night and the other of day, and in each duo I applied layer masks joining them in the middle with a gradient and in different directions.

After the last duo of background images, work with the horses, first separately, blending them into the background by blending and then together, alternating positions and then focusing on their faces. This is all done in multiple layers and blending modes.

The animation was developed entirely in After Effects, using light effects and varying the opacity of the images, making the layers appear smoothly and alternating them.

En la noche y en el día,
misterio y claridad,
lo oculto y el nacimiento,

Espíritu equino.

Para los amantes de los caballos, me incluyo, es que hice este diseño. Algunas personas sienten que su espíritu tiene las características del caballo.

Animal noble y muy sabio dependiendo si es caballo negro o blanco, simbolizan la noche, el misterio y el nexo con el otro plano o la luz, el día y el nacimiento.

Todos los escritos son de mi autoría inspirados en el diseño.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con 3 imágenes y 23 capas.

Para la realización del fondo elegí dos imágenes, una de noche con luna llena y otra de un campo a la luz del sol.

Realice muchas capas de estas dos imágenes, algunas las intercalé y fusione y otras las agrupe en dúos, una de noche y otra de día, y en cada dúo aplique máscaras de capas uniéndolas en el medio con un degradado y en distintas direcciones.

Luego del último dúo de imágenes del fondo, trabaje con los caballos, primero por separado, mezclándolos con el fondo mediante fusiones y luego juntos, alternando las posiciones y luego enfocando sus rostros. Todo esto realizándolo en varias capas y con modos de fusión.

La animación la desarrollé totalmente en After Effects, usando efectos de luces y variando las imágenes en su opacidad, haciendo que aparezcan suavemente las capas y se vayan alternando.
