What is Self-Deception?
⚡"Self-deception is simply the act of deceiving oneself."
Let's look at deception together.
When ever we want to talk about deception, we can't do away with these two words "Truth" and "Lie".
"There is no deception if there was no truth"
"There is no lie if there was no truth!"
Deception is deviation from the truth, into lies due to ignorance, lack of proper understanding, pressure, persuasion etc.
⚡"A deception that originate from within you due to wrong thoughts"

          What is self deception?

#1 Knowing the truth yet Walking away from the truth.
#2 Refusing to accept the truth.
#3 Making efforts to cover the truth.
#4 Repeating a particular action and expecting different results.
#5 Forsaking your words and promises.
#6 Thinking that you can Out-smart God.
#7 Performing actions that are not in line with the thoughts in your mind.
#8 Performing evil and expecting peace.
#9 Trying to cover your sins or wrong doings.
#10 Trying to run away from responsibilities.
#11 Blaming others for your failure.
#12 Refusing to face reality.
Consequences of self Deception

1. Wasted time and resources, because at the end, what your were avoiding will show up right in your face.
2. Shameful and a disgraceful end
3. Starting late.
4. Suicide.
   Men who deceived themselves.
   ✨Samson who thought he was unbeatable and he choose to live carelessly, he ended up deceiving and killing himself. (in the bible)
   ✨Prophet Jonah he thought he could run away from God's will by going to Tarshish, he ended up doing God's will (in the bible)
   ✨Gehazi servant of prophet Elisha, who thought he was deceiving Elisha, ended up leprous. (In the bible)

✨Judas Isscarot (the disciple that sold Jesus) he thought he could silent the truth(Jesus) He ended up killing himself.

Look around you, you will find many other examples.
"He who thinks he is deceiving another, is actually deceiving himself, the end shall tell"
