If you can't believe that life is as simple as working hard, well it's not... It's also a quest of mental purification, emotional purification and accruing merit through doing good deeds. There is a lot of love in this universe, but if you sit still you won't be able to catch it.
The universe works in perpetual motion. Only those dedicated to being in the flow of that motion will be able to take advantage of every moment of change that occurs.
Fortunately, even bad changes present good opportunities. The greater your difficulties, the greater the possible rewards you may have in your life. So as my friend Sean once said, accept the blessing, not the curse. We can all feel forlorn or like there is nothing being presented to us.
But even if all we have is lemons in our life, those can be squeezed, thrown or generally kicked into high gear in one way or another.
Even if all you have is air to breathe and a tune in your head that's better than many. Take what you have and run with it. Your creativity and your imagination are all that are stopping you. You can let society tell you what to do, or you can do something amazing based on your own intuition.
