Family hamburger night (EN-ES)

Greetings, my dear friends of this beautiful community. I hope you are all well and that blessings of health, love and joy abound in your lives.

This past Monday was a holiday in Colombia and Colombians enjoy it to the fullest, they go on trips for the long weekend, rumbean Saturday and Sunday, meet with friends, and enjoy life, after intense work days.

We Venezuelans who live here have joined in this enjoyment and each one of us does it in different ways. Many times we have gone for a walk, to visit new places, always as a family, united for fun.

This time, our choice was to stay at home and we planned a hamburger night, because it had been a long time since we got together to eat and have a good time, talking and playing our favorite game. Work and responsibilities take up a lot of our time and sometimes we don't realize this.

Saludos, mis queridos amigos de esta hermosa comunidad. Espero que todos estén bien y que abunden las bendiciones de salud, amor y alegrías en sus vidas.

Este lunes pasado fue festivo en Colombia y los colombianos lo disfrutan al máximo, salen de viajes de paseo por el fin de semana largo, rumbean sábado y domingo, se reúnen con amigos, y así disfrutan la vida, después de jornadas de trabajo intensas.

Los venezolanos que hacemos vida aquí, nos hemos sumado a este disfrute y cada uno lo hace de diferentes formas. Muchas veces nosotros nos hemos ido de paseo, a conocer nuevos lugares, siempre en familia, unidos para la diversión.

En esta oportunidad, nuestra elección fue quedarnos en casa y planificamos una noche de hamburguesas, pues hacía tiempo que no nos reuníamos para comer y pasar un rato ameno, conversando y jugando nuestro juego preferido. El trabajo y las responsabilidades nos ocupan mucho tiempo y a veces no nos percatamos de esto.

In the warmth of home, we gathered to prepare the most delicious hamburgers we could eat this holiday Monday. Early in the morning, we did the necessary shopping and got everything ready for dinner.

In the middle of the afternoon, I macerated the ground beef and reserved it to make the hamburgers, I was in charge of this step of the preparation.

So, when the time came, with good music in the background, we began the preparations for dinner.

En el calor del hogar, nos reunimos para preparar las más ricas hamburguesas que nos podíamos comer este lunes festivo. Temprano hicimos las compras necesarias y dejamos preparado todo para la cena.

A media tarde, maceré la carne molida y la reservé para hacer las hamburguesas, yo me encargué de este paso de la preparación.

Así, llegada la hora, con buena música de fondo, iniciamos los preparativos para cenar.

With everything ready on the table, everyone prepared their own hamburger, according to their taste. Some with cheese, others with spicy, others with fries, they were all delicious!

Con todo listo en la mesa, cada uno se preparó la hamburguesa, según su gusto. Unos con queso, otros con picante, con papitas fosforitos. ¡Todas estaban deliciosas!

We were happy to share this family moment, around the table, and this is the most important thing of these holidays, to be together and treasure the memories that remain. After dinner, we stayed playing several games of Rummi Q, until it was time to say goodbye for the break.

Now, another week of work awaits us, which we are grateful for and which we face with recharged batteries and full of illusions.

Nosotros estuvimos felices de compartir este momento familiar, alrededor de la mesa, y esto es lo más importante de estos días festivos, estar juntos y atesorar los recuerdos que nos quedan. Después de la cena, nos quedamos jugando varias partidas de Rummi Q hasta que llegó la hora de la despedida para el descanso.

Ahora, nos espera otra semana de trabajo que agradecemos y que afrontamos con las baterías recargadas y llenos de ilusiones.
