For this Monday with a Needle, I want to share a project that I鈥檝e enjoyed from the very beginning. A few days ago, I received a very special commission from a friend, who asked me to make some crocheted coasters with a very unique detail. From the moment he told me about his idea, I thought it was a beautiful and original concept, so I got to work with great enthusiasm.
The base of each coaster was crocheted in single crochet with black yarn. Once the main part was finished, it was time to add the detail that would give them personality鈥攖he one I showed you in this post: little paw prints applied to each piece.

Para este Lunes de Aguja quiero compartirles un proyecto de los que disfruto desde el primer momento. Hace unos d铆as recib铆 un encargo muy especial de un amigo, quien me pidi贸 elaborar unos posavasos tejidos con un detalle muy particular. Desde que me cont贸 su idea me pareci贸 una propuesta hermosa y diferente, as铆 que me puse manos a la obra con mucho entusiasmo.
La base de cada posavaso fue tejida en puntos bajos con hilo negro. Una vez terminada la parte principal, lleg贸 el momento de agregar el detalle que les dar铆a personalidad y que les mostr茅 en este post: unas huellitas aplicadas sobre cada pieza.
To attach the paw prints, I used fabric glue so the result would be exactly as I had imagined. I like to take the time to focus on those little details that give a handmade project that special touch. Each coaster was made with patience, care, and a lot of love. When I finally finished the set, I felt a great sense of satisfaction seeing the result. I loved how the little paw prints looked against the black background.
The best part came when I gave them to my friend. Seeing his reaction and knowing he liked them filled me with joy. It鈥檚 always very special when someone values handmade work and appreciates the time and dedication behind each creation. Without a doubt, this has been one of those projects I鈥檒l remember fondly, and I wanted to share it with you today on this Needle Monday.
Para pegar las huellas lo hice con pega textil para que el resultado fuera exactamente lo que hab铆a imaginado. Me gusta dedicar tiempo a esos peque帽os detalles que hacen que una labor artesanal tenga un toque especial. Cada posavaso fue elaborado con paciencia, atenci贸n y mucho cari帽o. Cuando finalmente termin茅 el conjunto, sent铆 una gran satisfacci贸n al ver el resultado. Me encant贸 c贸mo luc铆an las huellitas sobre el fondo negro.
La mejor parte lleg贸 cuando se los entregu茅 a mi amigo. Ver su reacci贸n y saber que le hab铆an gustado me llen贸 de alegr铆a. Siempre es muy especial cuando alguien valora el trabajo hecho a mano y aprecia el tiempo y la dedicaci贸n que hay detr谩s de cada creaci贸n. Sin duda, este ha sido uno de esos proyectos que recordar茅 con mucho cari帽o y que hoy quer铆a compartir con ustedes en este Lunes de Aguja.
