Hola hola...espero que todos estén muy bien. ¡He vuelto! Muchísimas gracias por continuar haciendo seguimiento a mi perfil, no me he ido de #hive sino que me estoy dedicando casi por completo a cuidar a mis hijos y realizar labores domésticas. Sin embargo siempre que puedo los leo porque hive siempre seguirá siendo como mi segundo hogar. Confieso que el hecho de no recibir hbd en mis post me desmotiva un poco ya que mucho o poco lo que se va acumulando siempre me hará falta, más aún en la situación en la que me encuentro con mi hijo en la que solo yo cubro gastos médicos y de alimentación. Como muchos saben él tiene un canal de Youtube, pero en estos momentos no podemos acceder a ninguna de sus cuenta monetizables ya que por su falla de memoria no ha podido compartirnos y desconocemos contraseñas y esas cosas. I haven't left #hive; I've just been focusing almost entirely on taking care of my kids and doing household chores. I’ll admit that not receiving HBD on my posts demotivates me a bit, since whatever amount accumulates—big or small—will always be needed, especially in my current situation with my son, where I’m the only one covering medical and food expenses. Hace unos cuantos días quise empezar a realizar amigurumis que a mí parecer podrían ser más comerciales; una jeringa 💉 y una enfermera fue lo primero que se me ocurrió por la cercanía del día de la enfermera, los bioanalistas y el médico. Mi intención era hacerla pequeña tipo llavero, sin embargo conseguí un patrón en imágenes para recrearlo, como siempre trato de tejer a ojo, está jeringa me quedo grande. La teji con hilos pabilos, un gancho de 2,25mm, usé las tijeras, algodón sintético, ojos plásticos, papel de aluminio, pegamento y aguja lanera.

A few days ago, I wanted to start making amigurumi that I thought might have more commercial appeal; a syringe 💉 and a nurse were the first things that came to mind since Nurses', Medical Technologists', and Doctors' Day was coming up. My intention was to make it small, like a keychain, but I found a pattern with pictures to follow. Since I always try to crochet by eye, this syringe turned out too big. I crocheted it with Pabilos yarn, a 2.25mm hook, and used scissors, synthetic cotton, plastic eyes, aluminum foil, glue, and a wool needle.

Empecé tejiendo desde la parte de abajo de la jeringa donde se pondría la aguja. Por cierto esta la realicé con un palillo que forré con papel de aluminio. Todo el tejido lo realice puntos bajos, como ven inicie con los colores verdes. A medida que fui tejiendo fui colocando el algodón sintético. Se inicia con un am de 6pb y se va realizando aumentos hasta lograr el diámetro deseado para el círculo. Una vez logrado el círculo de la aguja de tejer la parte plana, solo fui haciendo aumentos hasta lograr el tamaño apropiado. Después cambié de hilo a color blanco para empezar a tejer solo punto sobre punto y darle la forma y tamaño al cuerpo de la jeringa.

I started crocheting from the bottom of the syringe, where the needle would go. By the way, I made this using a stick wrapped in aluminum foil. I used single crochet stitches throughout; as you can see, I started with the green colors. As I crocheted, I added the synthetic cotton. You start with a chain of 6 single crochets and keep increasing until you reach the desired diameter for the circle. Once I had the circle for the flat part of the knitting needle, I just kept increasing until I reached the right size. Then I switched to white yarn to start crocheting single crochet stitches only and give the syringe body its shape and size.

Hasta cierto número de vueltas tejo con el hilo blanco, aproveche de pegarle los ojos y bordar la boca, igualmente fui colocando el algodón. Cambie nuevamente de color de hilo y seguí tejiendo. Es cuestión de hacer aumentos y reducciones en redondo para ir dándole la forma a cada una de las partes de la jeringa. Los colores que utilice fueron el blanco, verde, gris, rojo y negro. Me encanta como se ve está jeringa tejida.

I crocheted with white yarn for a certain number of rows, taking the opportunity to attach the eyes and embroider the mouth, while also stuffing it with cotton. I changed the yarn color again and continued crocheting. It’s a matter of increasing and decreasing in the round to shape each part of the syringe. The colors I used were white, green, gray, red, and black. I love how this crocheted syringe looks.

Como pueden ver es un tejido bastante sencillo. Para lograr la forma ovalada de los laterales de la jeringa empleé puntos altos y puntos medios altos. Al final coloqué el resto del relleno y el palillo forrado con papel de aluminio para simular la aguja. ¿Qué les pareció? As you can see, it’s a pretty simple crochet pattern. To create the oval shape of the syringe’s sides, I used double crochet and half-double crochet stitches. Finally, I added the rest of the stuffing and a toothpick wrapped in aluminum foil to simulate the needle. What do you think?
