Greetings, dear fellow walkers in this community. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying good health and well-being.
A few days ago, we had the chance to explore Bogot谩鈥檚 International District, and although our main purpose was something else, I ended up enjoying the walk much more than I had imagined.
This district, located between 26th and 39th Streets and between Carrera S茅ptima and Caracas Avenue, has a very unique energy. It鈥檚 the financial heart of the city, where office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, and a bustling urban life coexist.
But what impressed me most was the number of skyscrapers reaching toward the sky. Walking through its streets forces you to look up, and I confess that at several points I felt a slight sense of vertigo trying to calculate how many floors those enormous structures鈥攚hich seem to go on forever鈥攎ight have.

Hace unos d铆as nos toc贸 recorrer el Centro Internacional de Bogot谩 y, aunque el motivo principal era otro, termin茅 disfrutando el paseo mucho m谩s de lo que imaginaba.
Este distrito, ubicado entre las calles 26 y 39 y entre la Carrera S茅ptima y la Avenida Caracas, tiene una energ铆a muy particular. Es el coraz贸n financiero de la ciudad, donde conviven edificios de oficinas, hoteles, centros comerciales y una intensa vida urbana.
Pero lo que m谩s me impresion贸 fue la cantidad de rascacielos que se levantan hacia el cielo. Caminar por sus calles obliga a mirar hacia arriba, y confieso que en varios momentos sent铆 un ligero v茅rtigo intentando calcular cu谩ntos pisos tendr铆an esas enormes construcciones que parecen no terminar nunca.
Among them all, the undisputed star is the Colpatria Tower. With its 50 floors and a height of 196 meters, it鈥檚 impossible to pass through this area without stopping to admire it. It鈥檚 one of Bogot谩鈥檚 most iconic buildings, and its observation deck offers one of the best views of the city.
We weren鈥檛 able to go up that time. The errands we had to run set the pace for the day, and we ran out of time. So the Colpatria Tower was added to our list of places to visit next.
Entre todos ellos, la protagonista indiscutible es la Torre Colpatria. Con sus 50 pisos y sus 196 metros de altura, es imposible pasar por esta zona sin detenerse a contemplarla. Es uno de los edificios m谩s ic贸nicos de Bogot谩 y su mirador ofrece una de las mejores vistas de la ciudad.
Esa vez no pudimos subir. Las diligencias que ten铆amos pendientes marcaban el ritmo del d铆a y el tiempo no alcanz贸. As铆 que la Torre Colpatria qued贸 anotada en nuestra lista de pr贸ximos destinos.
