Rizos Indomables 🤸[ESP/ENG]

Being curly and giving my curls the love they deserve hasn't been a linear journey. There's a very strong culture that makes us believe that our hair, being rebellious, should be "fixed" through straightening processes. I think I'm finally ready to show you how the recovery of my curls went, because after constantly straightening it, seeing it like this in the photos has been one of the most beautiful achievements I've had. 😍 In these photos, I have no product to define them, meaning they are naturally taking their shape on their own without any creams to define them.

I won't deny that I've straightened my hair in the last few months, but the frequency hasn't been regular—maybe once a month. And I've gone many months without any need to straighten it. Plus, I think it's so fun to be able to choose a different style depending on my mood. 😂

Ser rizada y poder darle el amor que se merecen mis rizos no ha sido un recorrido lineal. Hay una cultura muy fuerte que nos hace creer que nuestro cabello al ser rebelde debería ser "arreglado" mediante procesos de alisado. Creo que ya podría mostrarles cómo fue el proceso de recuperación de mis rizos, porque después de alisármelo constantemente verlo como en las fotografías ha sido uno de los logros más bonitos que he tenido. 😍 En estas fotos no tengo ningún tipo de producto para definirlos, es decir que ellos solitos ya están tomando su forma natural así no los defina con cremas.

No niego que me lo he alisado en los últimos meses, pero la frecuencia no ha sido recurrente creo que una vez al mes. Y he pasado muchos meses sin ningún tipo de necesidad para alisármelo. Además, creo que es muy divertido poder escoger un estilo diferente según mi humor. 😂
