Hello friends!
I'm glad for the opportunity to learn the word of God with you all.
In today's lesson, "Is Religion necessary for salvation?", I learned that religion is necessary for our spiritual wellbeing and salvation. The teachings of Jesus Christ, as recorded in the Bible, emphasize the importance of worshiping God and being bound to Him through religion.
Religion provides a means of reconciliation between God and humanity. The speaker cites the book of Malachi in the Bible, where God laments that humanity has gone astray and failed to keep His ordinances. Through religion, we can be bound again to God and live a peaceful and worthy life on earth.
The church, which was established by Jesus Christ, is also a crucial component of religion. Those who argue that the church is not necessary fail to recognize that Jesus founded the first-century church and preached about it. He died for the church, and rejecting it is like slapping Jesus in the face. The church is a place where believers can gather to worship God, learn from His teachings, and participate in charitable works.
Charity and self-sanctification are also integral components of true religion, according to the book of James in the Bible, which states that pure and undefiled religion is to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
Therefore, it is crucial that we recognize the importance of religion and seek to develop a personal relationship with God through worship and devotion.
Thank you!
