Normal is and should be a dryer setting. What is normal anyway?
This post was inspired by, of all things, a spider outside my door. Fair warning: If you are squicky about spiders, and the like, close your eyes as you scroll.
What does that even mean, Craig? I am so glad you asked. I will attempt to explain it, despite my squirrel brain.
Much like how a spider builds their web is how my head works when I am chasingearning stacking sats.
I have a particular workflow. It starts with coffee, because well, obviously. I fire up my faithful PC and get to work.
I've been taking part in a Folding @ Home project for studying COVID. You may remember them from the '90s and the SETI project. They are still doing that, as far as I know. They partnered with a socially responsible company called Bitgreen. Read more here. It's a great project and I'm earning crypto for sharing pc clock cycles. What's not to love?
Ok, so I've got that started. Next, I make the rounds on a few games I check into at least a few times or more a day. risingstar Where you play an up and coming rockstar and collect cards, NFT's and starbits. The starbits can be withdrawn to Hive-Engine and swapped for other tokens. cryptobrewer is a relatively new game. It's still in beta mode so, take that into consideration. The premise is to collect resources and brew beer, or ale. The biggest drawback is how long it all takes. 6 hours to brew a beer. You can buy brewers packs in the market, or collect them as I do. You do tasks in the pub, which is also where you sell your craft beers. The tasks vary in length from a few minutes to a few hours. I hope they will consider adjusting these times as they progress in development. dcity Build a city, populate, and reap the rewards. It's a game where you buy or sell cards. There are too many Hive coins to list here. Many of the popular ones can be used to buy things for your city. There may or may not be an underground market for the down-trodden and underrepresented denizens. You can also buy and trade on the NFTMART
I've been really slow with this one. There are a lot of great guides out there for this. They will put you ahead of most people playing this. Each day, you earn SIM or the game tokens. Many factors affect this daily income. City size, types of industry etc. The SIM can be traded on Hive-Engine.
step 4? I may have lost track. See above about my squirrel brain.
Where was I? Oh, right. Another step in my work/hustle flow
The Brave Browser. Works like chrome with better privacy. Plus, you can earn their BAT token for viewing ads every day. This is where all my daily faucets live. It's just easier to have them here, rather than opening a second chrome window all the time. These are all like once a day or so faucets. When I stack enough sats here, I convert the different coins into BTC or LTC and withdraw them to coinbase (I really need a better wallet with keys I own). I was lazy and a neophyte when I set that one up. I will hodl some here and turn the rest into $HIVE. Ultimately that is the goal here for me. With more $hive, I have more voting power or I can buy $HUSTLERM etc. I loved steem and the idea behind it. Even though I am still playing catchup here and trying to get back into the groove, I love HIVE even more than steem. It's like all the things that were bad and good there were all pointing to this.
One of the best things you can do here is to engage every day. You needn't write 5000-word posts. Just be consistent. People are more likely to seek out and upvote, comment and reblog your stuff if they see you. I myself am guilty of this. It's hard once you lost the momentum you had going. I will get there soon. I do vote and or comment here every day. Even rewards of .003 HP will add up. I power up some, keep some liquid and send liquid hp to Hive-Engine for buying tokens.
Whatever works for you is what you need to do every single day.
Be sure to keep an eye on those crazy guys over at @hivehustlers. They are working on great stuff for us.
I almost forgot the inspiration for this post. Last chance if you are squicky about our 8 legged friends, stop reading here.
I suppose, now that you have made it this far, what about the spiders, Craig? We wanted expected spiders.
Ok, I saw my new friend below and it got me thinking. Aside from the obvious "web" connection there are other ways it applies. Spiders start out with anchor strands and then build the rest of the web.
Think of HIVE as one of those anchor threads. The rest is made up of all the other things you are doing in your everyday hustle. Whether it's a side business or dapps you use daily. All these are part and parcel of your hustle web.
final final warning........
Isn't "she" gorgeous?
