Our newest ally is Here!! Not sure about the name, though... Soy from "Soy sauce" sounds too unmanly... Haha.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a Gacha game set in an alternate reality of Persona 5. It features an original story and a new set of Phantom Thieves. P5X blends Persona 5's presentation and storytelling style with Gacha mechanics so well, it feels more like a console game than a mobile game.

Comnpared to Persona 5/Royal, the gameplay of The Phantom X is at the same time simplified and expanded. There are way more things to do in this game, and the online aspect makes it almost endless, but that also makes it more repetivive than the original. I give full marks for the presentation and the story progression. It feels like The Phantom X is experimenting with even more ideas compared to Persona 5/Royal... Returning characters look even more stylish!!

Being a Mobile/Gacha game is a double-edged sword, though. P5X has too much going at once. I'm playing Persona 5: The Phantom X on Android device. Every corner of the screen has interactable input os some sort! The menu is full of elements that fight for your attention!! In the first few hours, I used touch input, but it was hard to control movement in dungeons and battles, so I connected a controller, which made the game play better in my opinion.

We encounter Miyazaki's shadow, and his trap catches Wonder, Cattle and Closer. Shun who didn't get caught in the trap tries to fight but he didn't have a persona, and Miyazaki's shadow kept taunting him, breaking him with words, until Wonder's ecnoragement broke through to him. So now Shun's persona Mandrid awakens... "PERSONA!!!"

What do you think?
I hope you enjoyd the video above!
