In one of the trips the Lord had at the sea of Genesaret, He met with four professional fishermen, whom He commissioned them to be Fisher of men. The men were initially reluctant at the Lord's direction, because they had toiled a whole night without a catch, but later succumbed when Simeon said, at your bidding I will throw the net.
Early, the Lord had preached using one of Simeon's boats. When they finally obeyed they made a huge catch of fish that their net began to break and they sought after the help from other fishermen.
In the day training, we learned that Jesus was specific about who He called to be workers.
The five lessons from here are:
- Available - for ministry Opportunities.
- Faithful - to His Expectations for them.
- Teachable - in their Attitudes and Actions.
- Established - in their Faith.
- Responsive - to His Leadership.
