Fresh fish from the river are sold at the Battala of Shyampur Ghat near Rajshahi city every morning. This market starts at around 6:30 in the morning. It ends by 8:00.
Below the market is the Padma River. Fishermen catch fish in this river. Fishermen have tied up rows of boats on the river bank to sell the fish.
