I went out jogging before embarking on a trip that took more than six hours walking and climbing hills in far away country-side, Ekor. The people here are peasant farmers and living in thick mountain forests in the northern boundary of Cross River and Cameron. They have no roads, health and educational facilities. The commercial activity is very low due to lack of viable markets and as such trade by barter is being practiced. Reaching these people with the gospel was a mean to alleviate their plight and grant them succor. Since there's no motorable roads, mobility is harder and as a matter of fact, trekking is inevitable. I had to paid children to carry my luggage. I climbed the hills with the help of walking-stick. On reaching the hamlet, throng of indigenes were at to welcome me. In the coming days, I believe many people shall be touched by the Good news of salvation. I need your prayer supports. May the Lord grant me the grace to bear with these people and their social and spiritual situations.
