Hello everyone!
Today I invite my 2 cousins to chill in the afternoon while enjoying the beauty of this short life. Why short? Because every day that passes is always felt, even though life is heavy with many burdens and responsibilities.
One of my cousins came from out of town, he came alone because he wanted to consult a dentist as usual. He has problems with his teeth, to be more precise with fixing the structure of his teeth with braces. He's been wearing braces for 2 years and it's really very reliable, thankfully his teeth are better than before.
Seis Cafe
So, after coming home from a dentist consultation, I took him to a cafe on Jl. Sei Silau, Seis Cafe. This is a cafe that is becoming a favorite among young people. In this cafe there are 2 very cool locations, indoor and outdoor. We also chose to take a table outside right on the back terrace of this cafe.
One of the reasons we chose outdoor is because outdoor seems to have good air, it doesn't mean indoor is not good. There is a shady tree that can protect us from the hot sun, even though we came on a shady afternoon. We sat while telling stories and gossiping loudly and enjoying some of our orders.
When the waiters came and gave the menu, there were lots of menus listed with various types of interesting food and drinks. We chose drinks to our individual tastes. My cousin chose berries pea tea and Ice Chocolate, while I chose to drink a cup of matcha ice tea with 2 traditional desserts, namely fried sweet potato and tempeh mendoan.
After our order came, I realized that I chose traditional food from 2 countries. How cute it would be if the two of them were mixed into a single unit on a shady afternoon. One other thing, I realized that this tempe mendoan has a unique shape. In all my life I have never seen a large round tempeh sold in the market. Usually, tempeh is square in shape, but not usually round tempeh mendoan is served at this cafe.
For the drink I ordered, matcha tea, it was very interesting. It has a sweet and nutty taste. The matcha powder used seems to be of good quality. I don't feel a strange smell, usually if we choose the wrong matcha powder, there will be a musty aroma that is felt. However, the tea is perfectly acceptable to a layman like me. Especially those who are not used to drinking matcha tea.
Design and Architecture
One of the main points to note at this cafe is that it has an aesthetic place. All tables and chairs are made of wood and iron, especially the table, looks sturdy and elegant with a classic wood color. In the indoor room, there are 2 floors with a staircase like in a luxury house. The handrail is made of strong wood with a dark brown paint coating.
There are lots of tables and chairs covered by brown cushions. Very comfortable when used to sit for a long time. Then there are many sides that are very well proportioned for taking pictures, I really like some corners decorated with plants, there are some vines and ornamental banana leaves. On the one hand, I was attracted by the unique corner of the sink, combining wood with stone and ceramics, and beside the sink there are some beautifully manicured cactus plants.
In the end, we sat here for 2 hours, while waiting for the sunset and we went home because the mosquitoes started coming to chase us away.
