Hello fellow Steemians,
I am by no means a crypto expert, one glance at my content (ASMR) should tell you that much,
but despite this I wanted to share my thoughts on the bull run steem pulled of in the last days.
Well I'm afraid to tell you that this high isn't likely going to last (yet).
Crypto Currencys like Ether and Bitcoin also made massive gains
in the last two days and the Steem gaines seems to be higher, simply by virtue of Steem
beeing still a small altcoin.
(don't get me wrong I'm kinda proud, that steem leads the market recovery)
Despite beeing sceptical about the current rise, I believe that Steem will be a major crypto currency in the future, however this rise will be tied to the succes of steem.it and dtube.
Since conventional social media platforms like facebook, twitter and youtube,
experience massive problems like decreasing revenue for the creators or censorship,
the need for alternatives will be bigger by the day.
Especially big youtubers might start to experiment with dtube or even switch (partially to) it soon,
simply becouse they might need a place to store more controversial videos, or simply want
to send a message to there current platform.
This will increasing the prominence of steem.it and dtube on conventional social media, therefore
more and more creators might come to stay, whether it is for freedom of speech or more revenue.
I believe that htis will be the point, where steem takes of way past 10 or even 100 US Dollars.
For this reason it is of paramount importance to me
to establish myself here, befor this massive influx of new creators happens
and since the sucess of steem as a currency is closely tide to the content we create,
I strongly suggest, that we should aim to make the best possible version of it, be it cooking, vlogging,
gaming content, or in my case asmr.
Again, I am speaking as an ASMR Tuber and as
someone who was crypto illiterate a year ago, so take
everything I just said with a grain of salt.
However I still wanted to share my opinions and I hope, this post made sense to you.
