I've been a HIVE trader for a really long time. As many of you know - if you have followed me - I don't HODL a ton of HIVE in terms of on-chain but I do run a few market making bots that keep me in a mixed basket exposure to a few different assets.
One of those assets is, of course, HIVE.
HIVE is an incredible currency and the Hive blockchain is an incredible place. One thing that I have always appreciated about it is the community.
That community has never ceased to amaze me. Building amazing things. LeoFinance started with a dream and now we just saw them release Project Blank.
To me, this has always been the true value of HIVE: delivering on the promise of Web3.
From a purely price action perspective, HIVE has been performing oddly well. We're seeing it do well amidst some pretty rough turbulence in the markets.
We saw some HUGE pumps and dumps... Then we traded flat. Then we saw some more huge pumps.
All in all, we are seeing some nice price action and volumes on HIVE.
None of us really know what's going on with these HIVE Pumps... We've also seen tons of HIVE dumps and a lot of HBD price action.
It seems like these originate in Korea, but none of us really know.
I like how a lot of people are trying to track down on-chain data to find out.
In the end, I know that the HIVE economy is going to break out in terms of adoption. Will it be from splinterlands? Will LeoFinance's project blank bring in the masses?
Or will it be all of the above?
Who knows. But what we do know: HIVE is a huge success.
